Last updated: April 2026. This notice explains how 805Drone LLC (“805Drone,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information about visitors to 805drone.com and people who contact us for aerial imagery services.
We collect the information you voluntarily send us through the contact form (name, email, phone, project details) and basic analytics about how you use this site. We use it to respond to your inquiry and to improve the site. We do not sell your personal information.
Information we collect
- Contact form submissions — name, email address, phone number (optional), service category, and any project details you provide. Submitted to our internal inbox for the sole purpose of responding to your request.
- Analytics — standard web traffic data such as pages viewed, referrer, approximate location (city-level), device type, and session duration. Collected via Google Analytics 4 or a comparable provider, governed by that provider’s own privacy policy.
- Cookies — a single first-party cookie to remember that you dismissed the cookie notice. Third-party cookies may be set by our analytics provider.
How we use it
- To respond to quote requests and coordinate scheduled flights.
- To understand which services and coverage areas are in demand so we can improve the site.
- To comply with FAA reporting obligations when a shoot requires it.
How we do not use it
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
- We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly ask to be added to a list.
- We do not share contact form content with third parties except as required to deliver your service (e.g. sharing a shoot address with the pilot).
Your rights (California residents)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you.
- Request deletion of your personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — we do not sell your data, so there is nothing to opt out of here.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Be free from retaliation for exercising any of the above.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@805drone.com with the subject line “Privacy Request” and we will respond within 45 days.
Retention
Contact form submissions are retained for up to 24 months after our last interaction with you, then deleted unless you’ve become an ongoing client. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics defaults (14 months by default).
Security
We use industry-standard technical safeguards (TLS on the site, limited access to form submissions) to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure; please do not send highly sensitive information through the contact form.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage for 30 days.
